I am a government business reporter looking for a local news reporting opportunity.
My coverage includes major public works projects and policy. Years of B2G research experience gave me an understanding of how the governement delivers large-scale projects and how to access governement spending information.
I started my journalism career in college as a reporter and managing editor for the student-ran weekly newspaper (really printed on real newsprint!) and as an anchor for the student-ran TV news station.
My ideal next role would be a general assignment and culture reporter for an esteemed local publication in Austin, Texas.
